Day 9 Sabi Sands to Agatha 10th May. 286 kms

Up early no game drive for us big sort out for car and clothing again another beautiful day. A long slow drive on a sandy road full of corrugation to the exit then up the highway to first controller point. All well so we proceeded to Gods Window up a steep mountain climb with wonderful greenery on both sides, a pity it was cloudy, stopped walked to the top took a couple of photos and walked around the markets. Off again to the 1st time trial to find it was cancelled due to roads washed away from last rains. Route was changed and Judy’s navigational skills went to shit? Honestly couldn’t do a think right and was continuous giving wrong directions, “definitely blonde afternoon” however going wrong helped us in not receiving a speeding fine that 2 of the other rally cars received. We were happy to arrive at Agatha,s for afternoon tea. The accommodation had dropped in standard since last 2 days. Zoe and I had organised an hour of fun and games for all rally cars immediately after afternoon tea. We had 5 teams participating where a lot of fun and laughs were had we ran out of daylight however continued with very minimal light, the winning teams will be announced in two days.
