Day 17. Maun to Popa Falls 425 kms 18th May

Packed our bags had breakfast and waited for our boat ride at 9.30am to the small air strip back to Maun. The plane was a very tiny 5 seated which took us 20 minutes with little turbulence, once at the airport we had to quickly set of because we had to get to the Namibian border before 6.00pm tonight. A long straight road with many animals roaming, we had a lunch stop at Drotskys. Great lunch with a very scrumptious chocolate cake and then a 20 minute drive to the Bostwana border which was very smooth sailing however the Namibian border was a little different this took us an hour. Back on the road for 50 kms and into Divava Lodge where we all went on a boat for a sundowner at Popa Falls, hippos and crocodile spotted along the way with wonderful views another great night.
